One of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, remembered through light and atmosphere
Known as one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, Matsushima is famous for the many small islands scattered across its bay.
It was my first visit there.
We arrived before dawn, while the last traces of night were still in the air.
What stayed with me most was not only the landscape, but the atmosphere of that early morning.
