Hawaiʻi Island

Still on the Journey

The Big Island of Hawaiʻi / Dry wind, black lava, the smell of rain, and a sudden rainbow

A photo from nine years ago suddenly appeared on Facebook.

Dry wind.
Black lava.
The smell of rain.
A rainbow appearing without warning.

My body still remembers the air of that island.

Back then, I was traveling with someone who shared many journeys with me.
Some people remain inside certain landscapes forever.

Looking back, I feel I have always traveled in search of something beyond knowledge —
something closer to memory, land, and the quiet feeling held within places.

Perhaps the journey is still continuing.
